About Mason & Associates, P.C.

Chandler W. Mason

The firm’s founder, Chandler W. Mason, is an Atlanta native. He graduated from George Mason University (interning on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. during his Senior Year), and received his law degree from The University of Georgia Law School. While in law school, he headed the winning team in the prestigious 47th Annual National Moot Court Competition (beating every other law school in the country) and was also named the Competition’s “Best Oral Advocate”. Additionally, he was named “Best Appellate Advocate” at the Spong Invitational Moot Court Championship at William & Mary Law School (which also included some of the most talented law students in the country). He further headed winning teams in the ATLA Southeast Regional Mock Trial Competition, and placed second in the Georgia Intra-School Mock Trial Competition. He was also invited to join the Inns of Court (made up of only 12 other students out of his 200 member class). At graduation, he was awarded the Order of Barrister.

After law school, Chandler worked for a number of prestigious Atlanta defense firms. In doing so, he gained valuable insight into how “the other side” operates. Understanding this process makes him an even stronger and more effective advocate for you.

Chandler was also honored to serve as an adjunct professor at Georgia State Law School, teaching its Trial/Litigation skills class. He has also continued to serve as a judge in numerous moot court and mock trial competitions. In 2004, Chandler was voted a “Rising Star” in Atlanta Magazine’s Super Lawyer edition. The following year he opened Mason & Associates, P.C. so that he could better serve those who’ve been injured or lost a loved one.

On a personal note, Chandler is married to his partner, Louise. They live in Atlanta with their two teenage sons. Chandler enjoys volunteering in the community and in his spare time, he enjoys golf, reading, and traveling.

Louise Mason

The firm’s co-founder, B. Louise Mason, grew up in the Atlanta area and attended Brookwood High School. She graduated from the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama Law School. While in law school, Louise served as Senior Editor to the Alabama Law Review and was invited to join the prestigious Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society. She also interned with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission and Adams & Reese, the largest defense firm in the State of Louisiana.

After law school, Louise clerked for a judge and then worked for several boutique litigation firms, including one specializing in real estate and another in whistleblower or qui tam litigation. After years of litigation experience, Louise became corporate counsel to Norfolk Southern Railroad. She and Chandler formed Mason & Associates, P.C. in 2005 and she is proud to be helping Georgia accident victims.

Louise enjoys reading, traveling, and watching SEC football. However, her favorite time is spent with Chandler and their three boys, including their two teenage sons and rescued Newfoundland, Bear.
